oil leak behind pulley above oil pan area

oil leak behind pulley above oil pan area

cleaned the entire area. appears oil is coming from a seal near the large pulley that is located above the oil pan.

here are some pics of the area. looking for repair information.

Do a search...I'm assuming you have a 2k2 or 2k3? These model years have been known to leak in that area. There is a lot of information on how to fix it.

In that case...likely your front main seal.

If you want specific repair information you can do a search for that on here, or you can consult the FSM in the link below.

foodmanry do you know the part number of that seal?


Edit: 13510-31U10 is the latest part number, 13510-31U00 was the previous part number which some places might still stock.

I believe there is a drain plug behind the pulley that tends to leak. Search around.
