Mine does the same, I think its just a short somewhere in the lighting for it. I have found though that hitting low down on the passenger side of the front console works to get it back!

Bose

Mine did it too. I took it to the dealer for something unrelated, fixing the codes on the remotes, and mentioned it. I said "oh, it's got almost 150,000 miles, I just expected something like that to happen, not too big of a deal." The repair guy said "you shouldn't have to learn to live with anything...this is a Nissan" and spent another five minutes doing something. Since then, it's worked perfectly! I love Nissan Service!

I have NEVER had any problems with Nissan Service. They've always been fast and reliable. Nothing ever repaired on my car has gone bad since, and I've always gotten honest mechanics to do the work.

Ok, thats not it. I have a sudden disappearance all the time. Last week was a no show all week, that was sooooo annoying.

I think the dealer did a while back when they were "checking" the A/C mobo. It was happening before that anyway. Never took the dash apart.

And that's exactly what it was like for me, till I took it in. They said I should never have to live with something like that, it's a Nissan...haven't had a problem since.
