underdrive pulley's??

Are they good bad or don't waist my time. Where can I get them from and are they worth it? What happens when you have a large stereo? As you can see I am debating on it. Any info is great.

From what I've heard, it's a good mod. It won't help you as much as some of the other mods (CAI, etc..) but hey, every little bit helps, right? Sh%t I just bought one, it had better help...

If the equation is horsepower for the dollar, your first two bolt-on's should be:

1) y-pipe
2) intake (CAI or POP)

If you haven't done both of these yet, ditch the UDP idea for now.

Doh! sorry - meant that as a reply for the "Newbie."

No personal experience w/ the UDP, but I've read several of the more seasoned members of this .org say that horsepower for dollar, the UDP isn't necessarily the best bet.

(I'll leave it to you all who are getting/considering them to follow that up - it's only heresay from me)

Do you know something guys that I didn't feel the power of the y pipe and I felt the power of the pully but at the same time I installed a new clutch It was centerfource duel friction ..
REALLY? You got the y-pipe but didn't notice the difference? But then you got the pulley and DID notice the difference? Wow....

And the pipe of my muffler is 2 inch coming from the factory

I think yours are less than 2 inch by 1/4 inch right ?
Exhaust pipe is 2-1/2" (I think). You have a 5sp though...maybe that is the difference, since the UDP will be more noticeable in those than an automatic.

What do you mean when you say "my car dosen't have cut"?

In the middel east it's 2 inch ,and my car doesn't have catylitic converter but yours has ..

That's why you move for a big pipe and remove the cut you will notice the power more but I will not notice that much in my car ..
Ahh..I had no idea. No cat at all?? I wonder why?

So I guess a Middle Eastern Max stock will be quicker than a stock US Max, correct? I wonder by how much, and what other differences there are between the US and Middle Eastern versions??
