need a working/tested remote trunk box for a 95

as stated, i can get these on ebay, but those idiots don't test them before removing them. it has to be a 95 because of the immobilizer they put in the newer maxes. it looks like this Name: T2eC16NHJIIE9qTYI1YSBQyOpcfl60_1_zps112031fb.jpg

no, the 98-99's have the immobilizer so they're different.

Only 99's have NATS (Nissan Anti Theft Sytem) AKA Immbolizer and it has nothing to do with the keyless entry system.

Double check yourself with the courtesy parts site. Find the keyless trunk module and click on it... The different versions for different years, if they are, will show up.

But I agree, its got nothing to do with nats and the dealer guy was either mistaken or talking out his a$s

this guy was a master tech, he knows his stuff. maybe just confused it with another part. not like its easy to remember all the parts on this car.

I just checked and there are two different parts...one for 95-96, the other 97-99. Does NOT mean that they're not interchangeable, however...

just so you know, 94 to 96 is a different part number than 97 to 99, and are not compatible. so there
