intake manifold collector

hey guys its been a while since ive posted. i sold the max to my dad and it looks like it has developed a leak in the fitting of the manifold collector, actually it has developed a hole i guess it rotted away idk how. my questions is are those fitting removable/replaceable? or does he need to buy a new manifold collector. this is the part after the tb and before the upper manifold. thanks in advance.

What year? Pictures (I'm curious!)? Aluminum doesn't rust and it would require direct heat from a torch to melt. Maybe the gasket has blown?

sadly my dad made it worst. he tought they would simply unscrew and twisted, and made the hole bigger

He can just take the coolant hose going into the other side and join it with a hose barb to the hose that went into the side with the hole.

That fitting looks like the coolant inlet for coolant that runs through the throttle body. There is another outlet fitting on the other side of the throttle body. So all you need to do is disconnect the two hoses and join them
together with a hose barb.

It's the same concept as bypassing a leaky heater core, and many of the guys who install NWP spacers do it voluntarily since the only purpose for running coolant through the TB is to keep ice crystals from forming inside at extreme cold temperatures.
