OK I have a 2001 maxima anniversary edition 5spd, just yesterday my clutch pedal felt "sticky" I would press it down and it would stay stuck half way then just pop back out, well today I felt it doing the same thing, I checked my fluid and it was empty, so I poured clutch fluid. When I was getting ready to leave no gears would go in when I pressed on the clutch while the car was on. While the car is off the gears go I good. So I kept pressing on the clutch to see if there was air in the system, the clutch feels better now but still won't go into all of the gears

 

sounds like pressure plate finger is bent. i.e. you need a clutch. Try this put the car in gear, Press the clutch to the floor and start it. IF the car jerks forward. The there's the problem.

 

check and see if the clutch slave cylinder is bad and leaking, those can by symptoms of a bad clutch but if the reservoir was dry then theres a leak somewhere. check the lines etc. bad slave will cause you to not be able to go into gear as well
