2000 Bose Vs 2k2 bose plug layout

Does anyone know if the Bose plug layout/harness for the Max 2000 is the same for the 2k2 max?

I am wanting to replace the headunit, but use the existing speakers and bose amps for now.

I asked the guys at www.autotoys.com and the response was:

"Sorry, we have not tested these converters in 2002 vehicles yet. If the plugs remains the same from the previous years, I do not see why it would not work."

what a great PC answer!

I am leaning toward the NISAH4n made by peripheral for around 59.00 from autotoys.com. There is another converter but it is 189.00, too rich for my blood.

thanks

Update:

Fyi:
Peripheral tech support emailed me back. According to them the 2000 and 2002 harness are the same. The Peripheral NISAH4n converter can be used on a 2k2 Max to replace the bose radio with another headunit and still use the bose amps and speakers.
