Help me decide wheel color...

I'm going to get the STR 607 for my next set of wheels. They are similar to Vossen CV3 wheels. I would post a picture, but not able from mobile device.
They will be 20x9.

I have a silver SV with panoramic roof.

Trying to decide between the silver wheels or the gun metal finish.

Opions welcome. Someone with photoshop is even better.

My own preference is lighter wheels with a dark car and darker with a lighter car.

This is how it sits now on Eibachs, though I've added a t-rex grill since then.

+1. The gun metal would look better IMO. Throw up a straight on side shot of your car and I'll try my hand at a little photoshop action.

Slightly elevated, but close enough to a side shot for quick PS purposes.
Currently are 18 x 8/9.

I'm a gun metal guy all day, but IMO, the way the car is now I'd go with the silver

If you're gonna make additional exterior mods (plasti-dipping or vinyl wrapping the window trim black), swapping out the headlights for the sport ones with the gloss black housing (or painting your current ones darker), etc etc then I'd go gun metal all day

Good luck man, happy modding

I'm going to black out the chrome trim around the windows, as well as the side mirror caps.

Looking at the BMW I posted, silver car with silver wheels, I feel it really makes them a lot more bland.

I was leaning gun metal myself, am not sure.

FYI those rims would fit in the 10.5" w/ 40mm offset of you lowered it slightly more.

I would need to get coils in order to lower it more. I'm going to stick with x9 all the way around so I can rotate them.

Sorry for the late reply/sloppy photoshop job, I'm super busy with work stuff.

Hope it helps you make a decision all the same.

The photoshops helped. I'm going gunmetal, though this one was close.

Got the wheels on, and I'm very happy.
The ride quality is not nearly as harsh as I thought it would be.
Tires are Nitto 555, 255/35/20
The wheels are 20x9 et30
The wheels are slightly inset from the fenders, but would probably rub over bumps if they were flush.

Looks amazing. Good work.

Nice to know the ride isn't as bad as you thought, I've got some 20x9 w/ 255-35r20's I'm putting on as soon as the snow chills out a bit. Are you on Eibachs?

Looks great! If I'm you, I'm blacking out the window trim and painting door handles + chrome strip on trunk same color of car; will be doing that to my own car when the snow stops up here.

She looks sexy though, man. Nice work

I'll be blacking the window trim and mirror caps.
Not sure if black, black chrome, or body color on the handles and trunk.
