370z rays wheels on maxima????

Hi guys and girls I have a 11 maxima and I' really want to get 370z wheels but I notices the rear tires on the 370z are huge 19x10 and I'm worry if I get them it will rub especially in the back?? I don't know if any of you have done this in ur car and could help me out, maybe changing tires will do it !!?? Also, my car is lowered on eibach springs, thanks in advance guys

It's been done by numerous forum members usually by stretching the tires.
I once had a plan (too difficult and expensive) to use (4) front rims for better fitment though you loose the staggered set-up some people really like.

245/40 all around. 20mm spacers on the front.
Wish I would have gone 275/35 on rear.

You know this crossed my mind to buy 4 fronts but i don't really see what would be the problem with that

I would buy 4 rears before 4 fronts.

What's wrong with 4 fronts?

Nothin, just think it would look good with all deep dish. It would fit I know for sure. Just need some negative camber up front.

I rode on 275's for a couple days, the understeer was terrible. Significantly reduced with 245's all around. Then again I realize most of you don't care about handling cause this car is just your commuter vehicle.

^^^ I wondered that and that makes me feel better about my decision. But for looks I think a wider tire would be better.

It is my daily driver but I want it to perform. I hate understeer and just ordered the Racingline rear sway bar.

Yeah I think it's the right decision in terms of handling and looks. So many people told me they were jealous of how well the Rays fit the Maxima fenders.

The sway bar goes a long way in putting the car back to neutral from putting wider tires in the rear.
My setups are either 255 all the way around, or 255f and 275r.

Would be hard to get the right tire height and sidewall look with a 255 and 275. IMO, I like the tire stretched a little so a 255/35 would not be stretched on the front and it would be noticeably shorter than the rear 275/35.

Those fenders are so damn big they'll fit beautifully.....and that rear swaybar will make turn in more controlled and neutralize the rear sticking more with the wider track now! I must say your 7th Gen with those 370z wheels painted looks alot better!

255/40 and 275/35 have nearly identical sidewall heights.

No the 255/40 will be noticeably taller by 0.25" of sidewall and .4" total height.

The set up I almost got was 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. It's almost the same height but the front is actually taller by 3.5mm
