I saw someone say that the Non-Bose system speakers are 6.5. Just measured mine and they are 5 1/4. Any other thoughts on this? Can I use 6.5's instead of the 5 .25's and will they fit? Thanks

The speakers are supposed to be 6.5 inch. Were you measuring from mounting hole to mounting hole?

If you go to crutchfield.com and search for speakers for your car (2003 Maxima, non-Bose) they come back as 6.5 inch.

 

I got 6.5 on all doors on my 2002
