My 2000 maxima 5 speed jerks when cold around 1k-2.5k RPM
also after 4k rpm i get no power it takes a poop
also i can pop the gears out without using the clutch but cant put it in gear without the clutch ( found this out 2 days ago)

also my foglights/ powerlocks / interior lights dont work

please i need a fix to these problems or links

We always ask the question: Do you have a check engine light on?

You can always take the transmission out of gear as long as you are not accelerating or decelerating. You can put the trans in gear while you are moving if you match engine speed to the land speed for the gear you are trying to engage. This is called double clutching.

The fog lights could be one of 3 things (in order of likelihood):
1) the socket for the light bulb could be corroding and the wires are not making a connection.
2) switch on stalk is bad
3) fog lamp relay is bad

Interior lights could be a fuse. But which lights are you referring to? Every light inside the passenger cabin is an interior light. You have the dome light, the map lights, the step lights, the dash lights, etc. Would you please clarify.

I had a similar problem to my maxima when I first got it, that is, your sputtering and not going over 4,000 rpm thing (I never had an electrical problem).

It ended up being the MAF.
