heres a ghettofy my car question

ok, no flames please. If I unhook my exhaust at the catalytic convertor, is there a risk of burning seals out etc because of not enough back pressure?

Sorry can't help it. You won't gain any power and it'll sound really bad. Don't do it, not worth it.

Maybe a couple of horsepower on the top end, but you'll lose as much on the low end from the lack of backpressure.

are u doing this to get a better noise??? - your better off recording the sound of a greddy on tape and then playing it real loud so people will think you got a hooked up car ........burning seals......well....its possible.....but i doubt it
