will 2000 maxima seats fit in a 2002? help
Everything will bolt right up. All bolt patterns match. The main concern is wiring if your seats are electric. The 00-01 did not have the seat memory option that came in the 02-03 so the wiring is different for the drivers seat. The rest should be plug and play.
I went to I35 seats in my 01 and ended up just swapping the base of the driver's seat to use my original base, wiring, and motors. I would say it probably took longer to do the driver's seat than the rest of the interior because you need to undo some of the upholstery to do the swap.
There's at least one write up on here about it but for me it was not necessary.
Edit: Unsure if the 02-03 Maximas have side airbags in the seats like the I35 does. This could be another potential issue since the 01 does not. Aside from the reduction of safety features it will probably light up the air bag indicator on your dash.
