I was going to plasti dip my whole car but i really dont want a matte look. I know you can create a "gloss" look but honestly I am going to steer away from dip. I have this sick idea that someone is going to **** with my car while its parked. (peel a corner of the dip off) Anyways, i am going to attempt to wrap my car. Yes it is very tedious and a lot of work, but for the color options and life span, I think it is worth it.

Has anyone used the clear Dip? I'm seriously considering doing the Window trim and door handles on my silver Max. No other chrome is left on the car.
Seen a video on YouTube and it seems to make it look brushed aluminum.

No but I actually just thought about this yesterday myself! It definitely creates a brushed aluminum look but the glossifier is thinner and therefore more fragile....which can be no bueno for something such as a door handle.

I was also thinking about doing something with my pillars & door handles yesterday. I was at a drive through, looked over to the parked cars, & saw a silver Sentra. It had a blacked out grill, door handles, and the trim around the windows. I thought about it before, but looking at the Sentra made me think about it a little harder now. I'm going to look up the video to check it out.

I have some black vinyl left after putting it on my son's car. He has a white 02 Maxima, & we put it on the roof. It came out pretty good, looks just like paint. I may try to do the chrome door trim. I already used some vinyl on my car's bumper. I used it on the area between the muffler tips.

They make a clear Dip not the glossifier.

Go vinyl wrap...

you can choose whatever color and finish you want. It can be removed if you grow tired of it. And it will protect your car for years if taken care of

Good idea too....I wrapped my carbon fiber interior gloss black and love it. Looks OEM still too since it's smooth.

I thought about doing that, but I decided against it. I have another idea though, saw someone do it in black chrome paint on another forum, gonna give it a try
