96 maxima where to buy tierod washers

Does anyone know where to buy just the stupid washer that comes with a new tierod? I've looked everywhere I can. I've tried all the usual spots, Autozone etc. I already bought the new inner & outer and changed them out. But it didnt solve the problem, Im still getting a metal on metal bang every time I hit a bump. The 1st time I just changed them out but still had the problem. So, I just re did today but this time I used locktite & a torque wrench. I torqued the inner tierod to 70lbs & the outer @ 30lbs. Im fairly confident I did it right both times I just dont trust that washer. If any1 can help me either find the new washer or just throw me some ideas on what else it could be.

What washer? The only washer type item is on the inner tie rod. Looks more like a clip, you should have gotten one with the new part. I highly doubt that the lack of that part would cause and suspension noises.

If you've swapped the parts 2x and you still have the same issue, look elsewhere for the problem. The tie rods aren't causing the bang. Start looking at the strut assembly, sway bar and lower control arm bushings.
