to lower or get wheels first?
I havent done any suspension work since i had my 240sx in 97-99. I got this maxima i decided not to sell, i want to add some 18" wheels with a suspension drop i dont want to get fancy maybe just springs. I want an aggressive stance where rear wheels dont look like they're sinked in once installer. what you folks think? thanks!
For sure, lower first. Considering how much handling will improve. And you won't get much performance from new wheels besides looks cuz I believe those stockers aren't that heavy and smaller.
Performance > Looks
Performance > Looks
Go low first then u can play around with what wheels u want. U can test fit and ****... Wheels look a lot better on a lowered car. As said up there after market look like **** on stock height. Trust me cause i got wheels first and im still at stock height lol im saving up for some coilovers
wheels/tires=handling
lowering=looks(and i little ricey)
i think it's kinda hard to decipher what drop to do unless you pick out your wheels first. decide what size you want, spacers make a difference as well. soo many choices with wheel/drop setup that i've changed my mind 3 times.
A lowered center of gravity transforms a car's handling, and it looks good to boot.
