No sounds in trunk speakers non bose system
I have an Pioneer x4600bt radio install in my max. I just notice that I don't have any sounds coming from my trunk speakers. I'm not sure if it always like that or what.
I have all wires hookup correctly, I tested for continuity and everything. Can someone point me into the right direction?
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I check the fades. When I move the fade to the back, only the door speakers work.
I ordered another wire harness and hopefully that will fix the problem.
Still no sounds from my trunk speakers. I replaced the harness and nothing.
I notices that there is an another box beside my amp, does anyone know what that box is? I can take some pictures if you want me to.
Also, how can I checked the fuse on my amp? I don't have a custom amp, just the one that came with the car.
Thanks.

Yes, the subwoofer is set to on in my radio and I checked all of the audio settings. Still nothing. I'm going to attach my the original radio again and see if they will work.
I have a Avh x4600bt by the way.
Is the output of your radio to the sub woofer the proper signal level. Pre amp out?
Maybe you can check the audio section of this forum and see if anyone had an issue like yours when installing a new head unit.

I'm looking at the wiring diagram for the non Bose and it shows that the same signal sent to the rear door speakers are the ones used for the subwoofer. That probably means that the signal is already amplified and is not a pre amp (RCA) out. You probably can not use a preamp out signal from your head unit and feed it to that subwoofer amp. Sorry I am learning on the fly and do not want to confuse you. I would expect others who installed after market head units to have had similar issue.
