Hello,

Was able to install the spoiler on my maxima. Next is just plugging the light cable and covering the brake light on the back window.

What did you guys use to cover up the brake light on the back window?

Will connecting the spoiler light disable the rear window light?

Is it plug and play or is there any other work ?

guys i just broke the middle screw by tightening to hard

Who can help? new screw? super glue?

You need to tap and die the screw may require a bit of drilling, I have no Idea what it looks like, got an SE

Ok definitely will use super glue. Is there a specific one or I could use any?


Also, since I drill holes on the trunk, is there any silicone that I have to add to prevent water from going in? Or what's the solution for this ?

You sure missed the sarcasm on that one!

You will need to remove the screw you broke off some how. Maybe an easy out will work, maybe tap and die, I don't know.

But you will need to use something between the spoiler and the trunk lid to prevent water leaks. A thin rubber gasket is best because it will also prevent the spoiler from rubbing the paint off the trunk lid.

drill the screw out and see if you are able to put a new in, if not 3M double side to the rescue and a lot of clear silicone.....

as for the 3rd light, just remove the bulb from it and you are ok, ....

Get a deck cover without a 3rd brake light. I have one for sale if youd like it pm me
