Finally did the fog light rewire BUT.....

i finally got some time to do the fog light rewire but has anybody noticed that when the alarm goes off that the fogs dont go off with the headlights anymore???? is that the way its supposed to be or did i do something wrong

Hmmm.... I haven't noticed if mine go off or not. But I do have the 2K2 lights in my car. It probably doesn't really matter at all... as long as something is flashing.

The fogs never for me went off with the alarm. And if they did and I never actually noticed, the reason for that is because you cut the wire that triggers that relay and routed it to the parking lights. See the alarm flashes the headlights, NOT the parking lights.

That is the reason why, but damn interesting, I never knew nor saw the foglights go off. Then again my joint never goes off. I dont even use the panic button cause the alarm is soooo annoying.
