They are not 194 bulbs, they are smaller. I forget what number.

If it's the same as the 4th..and I think it is, then it is "194" wedge.

Check the wattage! I think it looks like a 194 but someone tried that and blew some fuses. Try the search, I couldnt find the thread.

Acutally make sure the wattage is correct not cause of the fuse, but of heat problems. If it is a 2watt bulb, dont put a 5watt bulb. My DAD did this in his Mercedes (yes my dad started modding) and he burned the socket and the whole surrounding plastic with the 5watt bulbs that he put in there on the speedometer cluster and ended up having to buy a whole new one for over $1000.

Ok, for a 2k2 SE, there are two different bulbs for the instrument cluster. There are three of the "A" type bulbs. These are 14V-1.4W. There are four of the "B" type bulbs. These are 14V-3W. For the control unit (Air conditioner, heater...) There are two bulbs, but I don't have the specs on them. Sorry, I don't have any info about what "size" the bulb is (such as 194). I just have the part numbers that Nissan uses when they order them (if you went through your dealer to replace the stock ones). I don't know if the 2k's and 2k2's have the same setup.

I attempted to open the speedo cluster unit and got all the way to where I had the unit off and got the front clear plastic off, now you got the raw 4 gauges there. They cannot be removed because first the NEEDLE for each gauge has to be removed. That is the hardest part if you want to change some bulbs that might be imbeded behind there.

But for th most part all of the bulbs are in the back of the unit, all you need to do is take off the whole unit and on the back there are turn sockets for each bulb.

Sounds like too much work for a mod that won't do much for the interior questions on the 5th gen the side markers are the same size as the door lights i dont' know about the center light on the celing or the reading lights

A wide angle LED is just a normal LED but the viewing angle is wider.

But for the 5th gen's the blubs that light up the gauge cluster. Dose ne one know wut it looks like?? is it a wedge bulb? Or is it attached to plastic clip, so the bulb and plastic r one unit?
