Intro and Questions. Motor swap time. BUT...On an ALTIMA SE-R

Whats happening guys and gals(ha!)? I've been away a good long while now but I'm back a again. I've always loved you guys and this forum so I decided to come back and pick your brains. Last few go-rounds it was an 02 Max 6 speed, and then an 05 G35 RWD 6 speed. Now I'm onto an 05 Altima SE-R 5AT(tired of shifting). I had good luck with the other VQ equipped hot rods so I figured the Alti was a safe bet plus I've always liked the SE-R 18's. Long story short, My Alti needs a motor and I got a boneyard anchor for her. LKQ sells me an 07 motor from an Alti SE. I figure it's no problem. Yeah...So I've go the old motor out and I'm fully invested in the 07 motor now, lol! Not funny at first but now all I can do is laugh and MAKE it work. I've contacted SURATT and bought his conversion kit which includes cam sensor signal inverters, drive belt mount solution, and throttle body adapter harness. Now, I've got a few more problems to surmount but hey, it is what it is Anybody have any help on this? The flywheel bolts are different too. the 05 VQ has 6 bolts. New motor has 4. Hmmm....

This might be helpful, somewhat.

Most of the A34 crowd hasn't really gone into this swap, and if they have it's on 6thenmaximas or what not. Reason I say is because none of 5.5 gens have the 5AT, be nice if we did

Sir.

If I read this correctly... You should not be attempting any kind of motor swap.

Welcome back
