Plenty of power but you'd better not have snything else runing in that circuit. It's gonna dim your lights.

I recently had a cordless SnapOn impact wrench. Looks like a cordless drill. Good for little stuff but wouldn't break lugs. I returned. it. Staying with air tools when I can.

i've used one and they work good as long as you get a decent one, no compressor to wait for, and not as noisy. they are nice.

The electric one is not that good compared to compressed air. It does not have enough punch for the heavy duty jobs. Might be okay for the minor light jobs. Save up for an air compressor.

Okay let me answer this question for you, since I own a electric impact wrench, I have a Dewalt it has 240lbs of torque and I am using it as we speak lowering my wifes car and it is very strong, I bought it off ebay just keep your eyes open for one. They retail for $189.99 at sears, I dont know about the ones from JC whitney I can only speak for the Dewalt that I have. But they do have some weak ones.

I also have the DeWalt and it isn't as good as a compressed air gun. It wasn't able to remove the 36mm wheel retaining nut but a compressed air gun took it out without a problem. However it is good enough for most nuts and bolts
