Rear brakes + upgrade

Rear pads are about done and would like to start the brake upgrade back there. Which rotors and pads should I upgrade to?

TIA

Ok read slotted are pointless for me and even drilled are pointless unless I just want to aesthetics.

Also read why I have braking vibration - could be warped rotors of a simple fused pin.

So lead me in the right direction to a company (stoptech etc) that everyone likes for rotors and pads.

Appreciate it!

If spending the money, I think the cryogenic treated are good.
I would buy the brakes that have a surface coating to prevent rust forming on the areas that don't make pad contact.
I usually start with thetirerack and then price shop.

I have the 370Z Akebono 14" brake upgrade, so can't help you much.

What do you plan on doing with the car? Is this a daily driver? What climate do you drive in?

Southern California beach climate. Lots of salt air. Daily driver. Reading through mods now. Not a whole lot of performance mods available it looks like.

Stock pads or comparable, coated non slotted non drilled rotor. Frankly the factory setup is decent for daily use. Take a look at the Power Stop OEK Ceramic Brake Kit.

Great thanks!

Powerstop looks real affordable. Sounds like Im good with the stock rotors right now and will order the pads to see how that goes.

Powerstop pads are great. I replaced my rear OEMs with the PS. Cant complain, they are very quiet and they don't throw dust everywhere. Go to Rockauto.com and get them there, very cheap.

Check out Brakemotive on ebay as well. They have good quality rotors and pads. Their products are not pricey.
