Help! Car Will Randomly Not Start

Hey guys, so I've had my 09 for the last 3 years and as of the last 15 months the car randomly will not turnover. I've had to get a jump start atleast 8 times in the last year. The Die Hard battery was bought 9/2012 and I just had it checked and it is still in excellent condition. They also tested my alternator which was fine. The car has a harder time starting in the cold weather as I keep it outside. But still, a 2009 maxima should not have that many issues with a perfect battery charge. It wouldnt start on halloween morning and its was like 45 degrees out. I also needed a jump this past Summer when I got back from vacation and it didnt move for 7 days. Im thinking maybe the car doesnt run enough to charge the battery as my work commute is only 4 miles round trip. Throw the gym in there and its still only 10 miles or so daily unless I have other stuff to do. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking battery... Get a new one. It sounds like you've waited and are now right outside of that 3 year warranty.

Ditto. Sounds like you have a week battery with insufficient cold cranking amps. Spend the money on a quality battery with more than 700 CCA's.

After you get the new battery take the long way home from work a couple times a week to get the battery fully charged if you think all your short trips are the culprit.

And you may want to put a charger on during the weekends. Those short drives aren't really conducive to keeping your battery charged. Sad thing with most auto batteries, once they fully or deeply discharge a few times, they rarely recover. You didn't mention of your diehard was silver, gold or platinum. If anything but platinum ago, you may need to get a new one.
