This is a bit more than 5" but a guy in Russia really lifted and modified this Max.

lol thanks fellers. I was hoping there was a way to lift a few inches not really into slammed vehicles also wanted to add bigger tires instead of bigger rims to get more of an off road look but oh well

Remove struts
trace the strut hats and cut a spacer out of 0.5" to 1.5" thick uhmw plastic
remove studs from the strut hats and replace with longer bolts
install struts

probably going to need camber bolts on the front.

I was going to do this, but the bolts were too rusty and I was too lazy to mess with that BS and I decided I didn't want it that badly. The subaru guys do it fairly often FWIW.

Or just buy a jeep cherokee for $500.

The rear strut from a 240sx looks like it could fit on an A32. The S13 strut is longer than the A32 and the S14 is even longer.
