Painting Stock rims

Hi,

I am thinking about painting my stock rims on my 2000 Maxima SE with 17inch, and I was wondering if anyone else has done this and could show me pictures of what they looked like after they finished. Or would it just look terrible?

Does the car have steel wheels? I thought aluminum spoked wheels were standard. If you have the aluminum wheels, I vote don't paint. Just clean and polish them real nice and clear coat them.

They are aluminum, and I think your right on not painting them. What kind of polish and clear coat would you recommend?

(Tried to upload a few pics but it's not working for some reason)

Look at page 57 in the "what did you do to your 5th gen toay" thread, I have my pics posted there
