is there any way to do this?

For now i will go with a plane white halo, 2 in each headlight wired to an ACC in so the 4 halos simply turn on and off based on cars ignition on/off

I would however like to get the color changing ones but was told that even when power is sent to the box for them, you must use a remote to actually turn them on. Any way around that? or brand that will turn on when the car is turned on?

They will come on when the car is started if you hook them to ACC and if you leave the remote set to on.

Not sure why you'd want this though... Those flashing patterns or colors other than white can get you in trouble..

 

I agree, probably just going white, the color changes are cool if you're just showing friends how they are but you could never drive around here with them any other color then white without a cop cutting your *****

i thought on the color changing ones though even with the remote on you had to hit a color to trigger it even if it gets ACC power, i could be wrong though. according to the shop i am having do the work he said """The color changing halos ones turn on only when u press the on/off button on the remote. If you want them as drl then you will have to get the single color halos (white)""""

 

Shop doesn't know what they're talking about. That's the case of you hook them too the battery but the only color you can run as a DRL is white anyway lol
