Hi I'm a new member I have a 2002 maxima that recently started, when I'm let off the throttle while coasting once I get to and below 40mph it seems like it comes out of gear it returns to idle, but it's not erratic nor does it jump just returns to idle and stays there until I get back on it, what's up with that I've searched bathe web a lot can't find any answers and only similar threads popped up with same issue but rpm jump which mine don't, any ideas what I could be

 

This sounds normal to me. Tq converter is unlocked.

I don't think you were paying attention to the tach before.

 

Hmmm idk it's very noticeable, and just started I've had the car for years now and just caught my attention
