Its been a good ride. Replaced the Maxima

I've been on this forum since 2002 and its been great. Tons of information and I even got the chance to meet a few members from Rhode Island. Over the last year or so the cars has been burning to much oil and found out the compression is low on #2 cylinder so I was time to say good bye. I had lots of good times with 6 speed and it has proven very reliable. Just pulled the trigger on a 2016 Volvo V60 Polestar. Couldn't pass up the $9000.00 off MSRP. Picking it up on Monday in Vermont so I have a 2-3 hour ride. Here's a quick picture of her. Will post more once she's home. Purchased from Al Martin Volvo in Vermont.

350hp/369tq and AWD. Always loved sports wagons but hardly anyone makes them or brings them to the states.

Awesome car! Volvo always knew how to make a wagon look cool. Those power and torque numbers suggest a turbo with a very fat torque curve. Enjoy the power upgrade.

I have some brand new parts laying around that I need to get rid of since I never got around to putting them on the car. I will post pictures in the for sale forum later today.
Brand new front and rear rotors
Brand new front and rear pads
Brand new radiator.

Got a buddy in Arizona who is now into Volvos, he'd have one of those if his wife would let him.

Wife didn't give me any grief due to the fact I had been saving for 8 years for my next car purchase. I am the type of person who keeps cars till the wheels fall off. Here's hoping the Volvo can provide 13+ years of trouble free ownership. I really wanted the 2016 model because of the inline 6 turbo. Volvo change to a in line 4 turbo for 2017 with 17 more hp but 20lbs of torque less. Only wish it was available with manual transmission
