air condition service what freon?

air condition service what freon?

Hi Guys...

Car need freon in air condition...what freon is used?... Sticker under hood say
air condition 134a...

Thought the same thing. R-134a is the standard stuff now that is available everywhere—it should hit you in the face if you walk the Walmart auto aisles. My 91 has the old R-12 system and I'm just praying that the A/C can survive the life of the car so I can avoid a conversion or the grey market.

Okay Guys...

You are right as i later found out that years 93-94 use current freon. Older cars used r12. No intent to trick...i just trying to get some info.
