New Brakes = Engine Light/O2 Sensor
New Brakes = Engine Light/O2 Sensor
New to this forum. Replaced my passenger side rear brake caliper, rotor and pads. Lowered vehicle and Service Engine Light came on (w/ brake light). Checked master cylinder and brake fluid was low. Added some dot 3 brake fluid and bled, brake light went off. But Service Engine Light still on. Used OBD tool and it’s throwing Bank 1 O2 Sensor?!? I know they go bad but what’s the chance of it after changing a rear brake caliper, rotor and pads? The light was NOT ON prior to the brake job and came on DIRECTLY afterward. ANYONE KNOW WHY this may have happened? Tks!

Don't drive yourself nuts by trying to figure out why.
