correct heater hoses for 98 i30

I am trying to replace every coolant line I can find as I reinstall the fuel injectors. I am looking at the heater hoses.

What's the correct part number for the one-piece, upper heater hose?

What's the word on replacing the heater hoses after I put the top end back together...is it possible? I don't have a replacement upper hose on hand and I'm trying to put this piece of junk back together.

I have Gates 19755 - this is INFINITI 92410, Heater Hose Outlet. This looks like a match for the lower of the two heater hoses.

My car's upper heater hose is NOT TWO PIECES. There is no "C*CK WATER CONTROL" in between the hose attached to the heater and the hose that's attached to the engine.

Therefore the GATES 28474 on hand is NOT the correct part. Neither is INFINITI 92400, as that is just the 2nd half of the assembly that I don't have.

I wasn't able to find a drawing that depicts my car as it sits. I couldn't find a drawing of this assembly in the FSM at all.

Look here:

Looking back at past orders.. In 2013 I ordered two sets of Gates hoses for the Maxima and the I30 from PartsGeek. I've used both since 2013.

1999 Nissan Maxima Heater Hose - 19755 Gates - $16.70

1999 Nissan Maxima Heater Hose - 19756 Gates - $16.70

Though for the last replacement, I picked up an elbow hose from a local parts store instead of using the hose listed below.

1999 Nissan Maxima Heater Hose - 28474 Gates - $9.70

19756 is listed as "doesn't fit" the 98 i30 or 99 i30

however the oreilly website does show it for 98 and 99 maxima

As I mentioned before, the Gates hose company lists every single hose for our car. Just write down their part number. Then go to Amazon, enter
Gates+part number. They have almost all of them at reasonable prices.

You are making this process much more difficult than it need to be.

Au contraire JvG - I did do what you recommended, that's how I ended up w the Gates hoses I did. The Gates site shows 28474 (the smaller of the two hoses) and NO second, larger hose, for 98 i30. I ordered the parts based on the Gates site.

Yes, the Gates site does show the correct 19756 for 98 MAXIMA. I don't know why the listing is different for the same A32. The "**** water control" piece in the drawings looks like it'd be a part of a manual cable operated heater valve...not the full logic HVAC in my i30.

I did get a 19756 from O'Reilly today for TWICE the online price.

I have a 96 Maxima SE.

I can understand how your hoses might be different from what I have.

Just trying to help..... Best wishes!
