1999 Nissan Maxima
Ok everybody,
I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima 3.0, was driving then it quit, put in new crank and cam sensor pack (all 3), it would crank and not start. took it to the dealer they said immobilizer is bad causing the theft light to come on. Replaced the key switch immobilizer assembly, took back up to dealer, keys programmed, still will not start with just the key, if I shoot a quick shot of ether in it, she fires up and runs until i shut it off and 2 hours later i have to reshot it again with ether. thinking it could be the idle air control valve is sticking , just looking for some extra help here please, dealership said could be up to $3500 to fix?????
