Connecticut dealers for basic Maxima CVT maintenance?

For those in CT (or in next-door states), can you recommend a reliable dealership/garage who understands Nissan CVTs?

I need to bring my car in for a transmission fluid drain and fill. As you all know, this can easily get screwed up if a mechanic a.) does a "flush and fill" instead and/or b.) uses a 3rd party CVT fluid that isn't the Nissan 999MP-NS200P.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need a reliable dealership.
Buy 5 quarts of Nissan NS2 fluid, a drain plug washer and an external filter.
A monkey can do it really. Search this forums for the How-To.

It's really easy to do I would save money on the labor and buy the CVT fluid and filter from Nissan and do it yourself it doesn't take long at all.

Do it yourself... about 4 and 1/4 qts. drain fill. takes about 20 min.. Don't need ramps...

I just did a drain and fill on my 2014 Maxima yesterday. 4.5 quarts & a new rubber ring around the drain plug. Easier than an oil change.

The old fluid was very, very dark. It may be overkill, but I do this service every 20K-25K miles.

Replace the filter. Your fluid should be nice light green if you are changing it out every 20-25k. The last time I did it was at 100K and it was still nice light green. But the first time, I believed the Service Department that there was no filter and it was very dark as you mentioned. Every since I started replacing the filter it stays nice light green between service dates.

I bet changing the filter is the real savior for this transmission and even more important that the fluid itself.

I don't disagree. But I was thinking that if I go to the trouble of taking the right front wheel off and mud guard, I should get extender hoses plus 11 quarts of NS2, and do a 100% fluid exchange. Would need an extra helper too. This service is a now little more complicated than an oil change!
