Happy to join the forum. I owned an 02 Maxima GLE. It was an amazing car with great quality in and out, but was totaled by a wreckless driver.
I'm looking to buy a new body style maxima, any where between '16-'18. Mainly I have been drawn to the Platinum trim due to the moonroof and 360 back up camera, the SR trim for its sporty interior or the SL to keep that moonroof.
I would prefer a CPO instead of a private sale or different dealership, but now that it's getting close to purchasing time I'm starting to have the "second thoughts" issue between what's important in purchasing. Looks like 21-26k is the average where I am in California. Anyone care to vent about the current market or different trims and year differences? I have done ample research and know the technical aspects and differences but I haven't asked any previous/current owners. Sorry my first post is asking to pick your brains but I figured might as well dive in. I'm all ears on any issues or things to consider for a previous maxima owner who is considering making this 14+ year jump. Thanks!
