Falken Azenis ST115

Had a tire blow out today and had to buy new tires. I decided only to get two because I was in a hurry and was unsure about this tire. Unfortunately the shop I was stuck at didn't carry the Kumho's, and my only other choice was the NT555 which I've had before and wasn't too fond of. The tire looks great, but I haven't pushed them hard yet because whenever I get new tires I realize how much they cost and decided I'm going to make them last.

They have treadware of 360 so hopefully they'll last a while. Also, they have the two BIGGEST water channels I've ever seen.

$97 / tire, what do you guys think?

I have heard through they grapevine they are a good tire but a little greasy when they get hot, like on a road course. For street use and autoX in both wet and dry I heard they are really good.

That's what i got on my new wheels brian, I like them alot, they grip very well in the dry, and handle in the wet almost as good as my old kumhos, overall i am very pleased, oh yea and puddles don't stand a chance with those water channels

Those wheels don't last for too many miles, according to someone I know who has them on his WRX.

There's a great article in this month's Sport Compact Car about performance tires. Yoko just came out with a new kind of rubber: the pirada...I might get them.

Yeah I already went through mine, but that's typical. They had absolutely no traction for the last 25% of their life.
