Reviving a 4th gen after 2 year Sit

I have a 4th gen that has been sitting for 2 years. I had originally passed it down to a relative a few years ago but they ended up leaving it in the drive way after experiencing a crank shaft position sensor problem and a dead battery. To say im disappointed is an understatement but i have recovered the car and its in my possession now so im looking to revive it.

That said, it has a full tank of gas and from my understanding starting a car with old gas can be a problem?
Is two year old gas gonna be a problem? Will it cause problems in fuel system if i try to run it with that gas or can i put seafoam in the gas tank and hope for the best?

What else should i be worried about before trying to turn it over?
I just ordered a new battery so i wont be able to try and turn it over until it comes in but im just proactively looking at things that may be a problem.

I might replace the cps sensors before trying to start it but if there is anything i should be mindful about before trying to start the car a heads up would be appreciated.

I've had my maxima sit for over a year with a full tank of gas. Eventally I fixed it's issues.

I just started the car as usual. It misfired a bit at first, then ran normally. I used up a third of a tank, then filled it again. The objective was to dilute the old gas as soon as possible. I burned through another third of a tank. Replaced with fresh gas.

I've recently fired up cars with 2-3 year old gas. Is it good? No. Will it work, yeah it just might run rough.
I usually toss some injector cleaner or tcw3 in the tank whenever I'm running old gas.

It will take a few cranks to build up oil pressure and fuel pressure after sitting that long.

Thats great to hear. I thought i was going to have to drain the tank a gas can at a time.

Someone told me to add some seafoam in the tank before turning it over and ive heard of injector cleaner but what is tcw3? I was also worried the old gas will mess with the fuel filter.

The fuel fulterior shours also be ok. You could change it if the car seems starved for fuel.

It's an additive originally made for 2 stroke engines, that can also be used as a cheap fuel system cleaner. There is a thread on it in these forums, also across the internet.

It can, and it wouldnt hurt to replace it, but it's not needed for the initial start up.
