Something (paper like) lodged under fuel injector seat?

Something (paper like) lodged under fuel injector seat?

Was replacing intake manifold gaskets, upper and lower, when I removed the injector I seen this lodged in there.


that’s not supposed to be there right? This is my first time removing them myself.

Someone was probably working on the car and didn't want anything to fall inside over there, so he placed those pieces of paper :-)

Yup.

find a way to remove those .
perhaps a hook of some kind would work. Or perhaps a directed flame could burn them up.
Be careful about the latter.
