Mono to color screen 2010 maxima sv

I know it’s been asked plenty of times before, but I remember someone saying there might be a way to put it in to display temp or whatnot.has anyone figured out a way to get an oem color screen to work or is it just beating a dead horse pretty much impossible to do kinda thing?

Stick with the mono screen and enjoy the car the way it is! You don't need the color screen, you want it. You can add a tablet to the console etc, but don't expect to have original features function. I've seen guys relocate the radio into the glove box and move the temp control screen to the bottom just to add a tablet in. Just isn't a clean set up, I too have the mono screen and I'm fine wit it. My wife's has the color screen, back up camera the whole damn show, I like it but i don't need it, imo isn't worth adding the money into and relocating things just to make it somewhat work.

Yeah I totally get you,I have a pioneer 6.2 in dash and I had a nexus 7 on top but didn’t like it so I removed it and put the orange screen back.just hate it as it’s only half usable now and I just hate the way it looks but I totally get your point.was just wondering if there was a way around just to power it up and maybe show temp controls.heck, they said adding the paddle shifters was impossible but I got them in mine and wired them up.works perfect!
