Po600 code - comm link

Hi,I'm trying to resolve a P0600 code on my 98 maxima. The EC Manual say to check for continuity between terminals on ECM and TCM. The terminal pairs are (ECM - TCM) 65-47, 66-38, 73-10, 74-11 and 77-12. I'm not getting continuity between and of the pairs. I have my battery disconnected although the EC Manual is asking to turn the ignition OFF only. I find it strange that continuity doesn't exist between any of the terminal pairs. Am I doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It might be your speedometer cluster, first try and clean the connection on your speed sensor, I have seen numerous 95 96 maxima have this code and the cluster wound up being the issue, if you have a spare try this before changing the tcm or ecu

Thanks for the feedback. MaxFever1987- I haven't been back at it yet but I will try the cluster thing.
vqmaxman - I just find it strange that there were no results in any of the wires i checked for continuity. Which means that the entire harness section between ECM and TCM is cut right through. Don't you think that's unlikely?

The continuity reading should read with 0.00 reading means that you have no shorts and you have good continuity. The short or bad continuity would read a high 1.00 or more.
