I have a 2007 Maxima SL, it has a new transmission, (dec 2019 one), when it was installed the mechanic said the abs computer wasn’t working properly and that the lights will be on but the car will drive fine. It drives fine, not issues that I can think of, he said I needed a new abs module, I have since moved to another state and didn’t have the means to get a new abs module, I got it installed but then then the transmission was giving me problems, driving in the highway it would be at 4-5rpms, I went back and told them to disconnect it to see if it went back to normal and it did, it drives fine. But the lights are all on and I can’t see what speed I’m going. Otherwise I’ve done all the necessary maintenance and it drives good but I would like to get this issue fixed, I’m thinking of going to a Nissan dealership to see what they think would solve the issue, Does anyone know what I might be? Any advice would be appreciated.
