Key fob has new batteries and still does not lock doors

Hey guys, I have a 09 SV , the fob will start the vehicle by inserting in the key hole but will not lock/unlock doors or set alarm, I put a new battery in the fob and it still doesnt work.

Sounds like your fob battery is no good, I know, I know you put in new ones, but new ones can be bad too. Either that or the fob's receiver in the car is defective.

Try resetting your car by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery.

What about the spare fob, if you have one?
