Radio takes a while to allow channel chanfe

I have a 2016 maxima and was curious if others have issues with the radio not allowing you to change the channel after starting until a couple minutes or so? It didn’t use to do this behavior until maybe 2019 or so for me.

I’ll start the car, the audio will come in immediately, and it will always start on my last Sirius xm preset regardless of what channel I turned the car off on. The display says “No signal detected” despite the audio coming in fine, and I’m locked out of channel changing until the display data comes through.

I definitely have a wait before I can change channels with satellite radio after starting up the car, but that has been the case since my 2016 SV was new.

Normal. Learn to live with it.

It's always been this way with me since I first owned my 2016. Haven't figured out how to fix it.

Good luck.
