Bolt Size for Fog Lamps

Hello everyone,

I bought an 03 Maxi SE in August and I've been enjoying it. I'm the second owner of it and (other than a few hiccups here and there as well as a couple of tow trucks) she runs and drives really well. One gripe however. I don't know if it was the factory or the previous owner himself, but there are no foglamps where their supposed to be. It's all wired up, so it was optioned with them, but there are two voids in the bumper where they are supposed to sit. Enough of my rambling, I did have a question I needed answered.

I plan to buy some fogs and install them, being that there are none on the car to begin with, I have no hardware for them. What would be the bolt size to install the fogs? Also, I've already got some picked out by DNA MOTORING (It was the only ones I could find) if anyone has any reccs other than those I would appreciate that to.

Thanks

you can get factory style replacements that fit perfectly into the bumper, just have to remove the factory covers in the stock location. only thing that sucks is that the 02-03 ones are glass and always crack. it's a good idea to put a glass protector film on them..

Yeah I had that issue when I tried to get some at the junkyard. All of the cars I found with fogs had cracked ones. Also, there's no covers, just to holes in the bumper lol.

I'd say just order some eBay replacement lights, and then bring them in to your local ace hardware and buy the nuts there to fit. There are two per foglight and it will probably run you $1 or $2 total.

My replacements always had the nuts with them. I used to get Depo's but cannot seem to locate them anymore.

10MM socket sized nuts...BTW the sorry *** plastic Foglights crack/break from road debris. Protective film is a must for both! Most cars with low fog lights suffer from this especially in places where construction and oil field traffic is present.

The FSM says nothing about a “bolt”. It only discusses a fastener and that fastener being a nut.

And on that note, maybe don’t worry about the size and tracking them down … just purchase the correct Nissan P/N.

Go to the junkyard or hardware store there's metric nuts there.
