Fog Install Help

I recently bought fog lights for my 96.... I got the fog lamps and the brackets.. They did not come with inner trim pieces, and Im not sure if I need them..

Today, I cut a hole in my bumper to place the fogs in, but I am confused on how to bolt the fogs in... I dont see how I can get the fogs to stay in place. Is there a place where I bolt the brackets into the bumper? Pics, directions, or write-ups would help.. Thanks!!

what kind of fogs?
do you have a picture of them?
you should be able to put them together (the fog and the bracket) to be able to see how they are mounted.

and i would assume you are going to have to drill holes in the cut outs to mount them

What? No holes need drilling. Once you cut the bumper cover, you bolt the brackets to the car's frame, put the fog in there and bolt it down.

Also, if you don't have those little trim pieces it looks like crap. Also, I hope you use a template for the bumper cutout. I didn't and the holes are too big and I had to fill the space around the fogs with black foam stuff.

for the 95 and 96 i think you do have to cut it compared with the 97-99 fogs. from my knowledge there arent trim pieces for the 95-96 fogs, just the 97-99 fogs which are little plastic pieces that cover the bolts to take them off

Yes, there are trim pieces for the 95/96 fog lights, same as the 97-99.

Where do you plan on buying them from? They're not available separately from Nissan.

Wait, which trim pieces are we talking about here?

I was talking about the piece that covers the bolt. It "snaps" into a place right next to your fog. These are separately available.

Unless this is a different piece

Holy hell, they are. Could've sworn they were only available as an assy with the foglight itself.

Now I've gotta order me one...and $10? Sweet.

Lol, yeah, when I ordered from Dave B, one was $10 and one was $15...

WTF??? Why would there be a price difference between the right and left side

Get them from Courtesy or Dave B, $10/$15 per.

those were estimates off the top of my head, but they should be near those prices. It's kinda expensive for a small piece

They have the same part # as the 97 ones, so they should work.

But at least it's available, and under $50.

Anyway:

95/96 LH:
26157-40U00, $10.80 each at Courtesy

95/96 RH:
26152-40U00, $12.73 each at Courtesy

97-99 LH:
26157-0L700, $10.80 each at Courtesy

97-99 RH:
26152-0L700, $11.92 each at Courtesy

The passenger side must be in higher demand, or cost more to make or something

Weird.
