Hello All

Wrecked my 2012 Maxima need to replace the head lights. The car originally came with hid/ Xenon head lights but I'm on a budget can I use the regular halogen lights instead will it still work. The plug in connections all look the same from what I see. Please advise. Has anyone done this before

 

You can't - halogen have really different light path than low/high beam lights.

 

I understand you're on a budget , try calling local and surrounding junkyards/scrapyards. Its way cheaper than you can imagine

I don’t know what part of the country you live in. In the south, there are salvage junk yards where you go in with your tools and remove parts from cars in their inventory. Here is the one that I go to.

I am sure that there are similar ones in your area. They are a treasure chest for cheap parts for our aging cars.
