Intelligent Key intermittently not working

2010 7th generation Maxiua. Occasionally, using my intelligent key to unlock door does not work. Then use physical key to unlock. No Key sign shown on dashboard instead of "Brake". Can't start vehecle. Same for another intelligent key. !0 minutes later, everything back to normal. In the past, no key sign lasts only very shortly and everything works again. Has happened a few times before. Key batteries checked out. What could be the issue?

Anytime I have electrical gremlins running around inside my vehicles causing headaches I disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the computers. Most of the time this solves minor problems.

Thanks for the sensible suggestion. Will try that.
However, if I don't have immediate access to tools for disconnecting the battery, I think I could remove the ECM fuse to do the same, couldn't I?

Not so much as this just resets the ECM. Battery disconnects reset a broader range of computer systems.
