I cant find my intelligent key inside my Maxima

I have a 2011 Maxima 2.5Litre and today I have lost the intelligent key somewhere inside the car and despite pulling the car apart inside (I've spent 4 hours looking) I cannot find the key.
I know the key is inside the car as I can start it from anywhere, but not lock it.
I have a spare key.
Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can locate my intelligent key inside my car?
Are there any tricks or devices that I can use to locate it?

How do you normally carry your key when driving?
Were you working on anything inside the car before you lost the key?
The answer to your last question is there is no device or trick to locate your fob, unless you attached a tracker then it would only get you close.
Your key is probably hiding in plane sight. My vote would be the Intelligent key port.

4 hours of looking and still can't find it? Wowzers

How thoroughly did you look between the seats and the center console? Get your head in there with a strong flashlight? Move the seats all the way forward and look? Then move the seats all the back and look? Check the less obvious spots like the trunk, or clothing that you may have taken off (like a jacket) and placed in back seat or trunk? Where do normally keep your keyfob?

At that point I would consider removing at least the driver seat. Good chance you'll find it within minutes. Also check the door compartment if you haven't, cup holders, both center console compartments.

The fob doesn't have a speaker/beeping/vibration mechanism so you're kinda on your own.
