Strange Problem when I tried to start my Maxima
Strange Problem when I tried to start my Maxima
Hi Everyone!!
I have a very strange problem with my Maxima Exclusive 2015. This is my sad history... Sometimes, when I push the start button the car simply doesn't start. I mean, it makes the noise of the "click" of the relays, moves the steering wheel, pass to "on" position, but nothing happens later. I don't have any dashboard light or similar, just doesn't start. It happens one or two times during a week. So, I need to push the start button several times in orden to start the engine. Sometimes I need to do it three times but I need to do it like ten times (even, I tried moven the stick from Parking to Neutral, or get out the car and re-enter, etc.) I couldn't find a pattern or a sequence when I had the failure. I had this issue for around nine months. When starts normally, I dont hear any strange noise feels everything fine. I looked for intomation about this problem, but I still don't get to the right solutions. At the moment, I did the following:
- Change the brake switch (located above the break pedal).
- Change the battery (key fob).
- Change the IPDM (about three weeks ago). I thought that the relays inside the power module could be damage.
- Change the car's battery (a week ago).
I was hoping that changing the battery might solve the problem, as it has a slightly higher amperage (575 versus 550 A), but yesterday I experienced the same problem again. Any ideas?? The starter moror could be?? Again, when the car starts, I don't hear any noise. As you can imagine, I'm desesperate... because it seems to be aleatorial. Sometimes happens at night, at morning or almost any other condition. But of course, sometimes I don't have any problem, I pushed the button and the car starts.
Thanks in advance!!!
