Filling M/T ?? Where ??

Well I opened up my hood today looking for the drain plug and the fill plug on my M/T and I cant find the fill plug on top of the Trans ?? I got the long funnel and the Redline MT-90 and im clueless

I think you should get a service manual but I will give you the best descripition I can. ( I have an AUTO )

Looking at the tranny case , it's on the THICKER side of the housing.

Going from the drain plug it's less then 270 degress from there.

If you're facing the car, the fill plug is a large circular plug located on the front of the transmission facing you, a little to the right and about halfway up the case. To open it, you need a 1/2" socket extension to stick in the recess so you can turn it. It is much bigger than the drain.

I hated this too. The manual didn't even help me. Lie on your back right under the center of the car. The drain plug is on the passenger side, going in towards the driver's side. It looks like an ordinary bolt that's sort of out of place.

I really need to take a pic next time my car's up.

After draining it did you lower the car back down so the car is level with the ground then fill the tranny ??
